Ticketing Terms and Conditions 2025
This ticket is issued subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Spectators must comply with the Stadia Regulation (Cap.132 sub. leg. (BY)) of the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the “Kai Tak Sports Park Precinct Park Rules & Venue Conditions of Entry”. Specific attention for all spectators must:
i. Observe and comply with the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and other relevant laws of Hong Kong in relation to the safeguarding of national security (“National Security Law”); and ensure that no act or activity which is likely to constitute or is likely to cause the occurrence of an offence endangering national security under the National Security Law or other laws of Hong Kong, or which would otherwise be contrary to the interests of national security, is engaged in the Stadium.
ii. any form of unauthorized publicity, commercial or otherwise, political propaganda, racist or provocative messages appearing on flags, banners, clothing, sportswear, accessories or, more generally, on any article or equipment whatsoever worn or used by spectators, athletes or other participants in the Events is not permitted. However, this shall not apply to the identification of the manufacturer appearing on such clothing, article or equipment concerned, provided that such identification is not marked conspicuously for the purposes of advertising.
2. The right of admission is reserved by the Hong Kong China Rugby (HKCR) and the Management of Kai Tak Sports Park (Stadium Management).
3. Any person found with prohibited items may be denied of entry into the Stadium. Prohibited items include but not limited to plastic, glass, metal cans or bottles, anything containing intoxicating liquor, any balls, any items simulating the uniform or equipment of the disciplined services, any dangerous items, any discriminatory and political display items, any noise instruments, any remote controlled flying devices or toys, or any other item deemed inappropriate by HKCR and the Stadium Management. 4. To ensure public safety, the Stadium’s security staff have the authority to inspect the personal belongings of spectators entering the Stadium.
5. Any costume must conform to reasonable standards of decency and should not take up more space than one seat or obstruct the full view of other spectators. Accessories that look like usable weapons are not permitted.
6. Throwing objects, foul language and behaving in a disorderly manner in the Stadium is prohibited.
7. No flags, banners, buntings, posters, flyers, leaflets, and/or publicity, promotional, propaganda and display materials of any kind may be displayed in the Stadium without the permission of the HKCR or the Stadium Management.
8. No unauthorized persons shall enter the turf pitch level unless so directed by an Event or Stadium staff. Persons entering the turf pitch level without authorization will be prosecuted.
9. The HKCR and Stadium Management reserve the right to remove any person from the Stadium who fails to comply with an instruction from an Event or Stadium staff.
10. Ticket holder shall be responsible for the safekeeping of their digital ticket.
11. Re-entry into the Stadium is allowed only with a valid digital ticket.
12. Ticket holder agrees not to bring any claim or proceeding against the HKCR for any damage, loss, injury or liability suffered while attending the Tournament, except for liability that by law cannot be excluded. The HKCR excludes all liability to the holder in tort (including negligence), contract or ailment for acts or omissions of the HKCR, its employees and contractors arising out of or in relation to the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2025.
13. Photographs taken and video shooting within the venue may be used only for private non-commercial purposes. Publication/distribution of such photographs or videos in any media is forbidden. Making/distribution of broadcasts, commentary, news reports or statistics (by any means in any format or media including any such commentary made by mobile phone or other wireless device) is forbidden.
14. Ticket holder (i) consents to the broadcasting or other distribution of images of him/herself whilst at the venue and (ii) waives on an irrevocable worldwide, perpetual basis all rights to object to such broadcasting/distribution in any media.
15. Without the permission of the HKCR or the Stadium Management, ticket holders are not allowed to occupy seats with personal belongings, which will be removed by Event or Stadium staff without prior notice.
16. Ticket holder agrees not to engage in any ambush marketing that would infringe the rights of those parties commercially associated with the match and/or the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2025.
17. A child aged 2 and under on the 28 March 2025 may enter the Stadium free of charge when accompanied by an adult with an adult ticket.
18. A child aged 12 and under on the 28 March 2025 is allowed to enter the Stadium with a child ticket.
19. If no play takes place for the duration of the day, the ticket holder is entitled to a full refund of the face value of the ticket for that day. Whether play takes place will be decided by the tournament director and their decision shall be final.
20. With the exception shown in clause 19, tickets purchased for the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2025 are neither exchangeable nor refundable. All orders are considered firm and final.
In addition, ticket holders at the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2025 must also adhere to the Conditions of Entry for the Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium and East Village as outlined below:
These terms and conditions shall apply:
a) to the areas within the perimeter boundary and inside all buildings and structures in the Kai Tak Stadium and East Village including the accreditation and screening facilities, if any; and
b) during the whole period of staging the local and international events as designated by Kai Tak Sports Park Limited.
We are committed to ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
By purchasing or holding a ticket, you agree to these Terms. It is a condition of your ticket that you comply with these Terms.
1. Authorized personnel reserve the right to ask for valid proof of identity.
2. One person per ticket regardless of age except children aged under 2 who do not occupy a seat.
3. No entry to restricted areas without express permission or the appropriate accreditation.
4. No smoking or lighting of cigar, pipe, cigarette, naked flame, or e-cigarettes outside designated smoking areas.
5. No unauthorised commercial filming, photography, video, audio recording or use any form of recording of a visual image or sound is allowed within the Kai Tak Stadium and East Village.
6. No pet or animal, except guide dogs, is allowed within the Kai Tak Stadium and East Village.
7. No outside food and beverage, except baby food, medication, and food and beverage from outlets operated or authorized by Kai Tak Sports Park Limited is allowed.
8. Audiences are required to go through security checking before entering the event venue.
9. To ensure public safety and order, a person must not:
• Hold any items harmful to public safety.
• Cause any disturbance, nuisance, or endangerment to public.
• Engage in any unlawful or immoral activity.
• Obstruct, disturb, interrupt, or annoy other persons or the operation.
• Damage or destroy any items in the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground.
• Conduct unauthorised commercial activities or performances.
• Go into any restricted, accredited and authorised areas including the field of play.
• Any forms of demonstration or acts of protest.
• Collect, distribute or conduct sales or merchandise without the permission of Kai Tak Sports Park Limited.
• The promotion and display of ideology related content.
10. The following items are prohibited from being brought into the venue:
• Any kind of weapon
• Glass, metal containers, cans and bottles (Except baby food, medication)
• Alcoholic beverages
• Illegal substance
• Laser pens or pointers
• Inflated lighter-than-air objects (e.g. helium balloons)
• Wheeled recreational devices, including but not limited to skateboard, bicycles, scooters
• Drones, remote-controlled flying devices or kites
• Bags larger than 35cm x 20cm x 30cm (too large to fit under your seat).
• Umbrellas and selfie sticks longer than 35cm in length.
• Any other items deemed harmful, disruptive, offensive, or that may hinder the operation of the venue or its associated facilities
• Items prohibited by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China
11. Proper and neat attire must always be worn.
12. Any person who uses the facilities or equipment improperly or causes obstruction / disturbance to other persons will be stopped or invited to leave the venue.
13. All spectators must observe and comply with all notices to public issued by Kai Tak Sports Park Limited concerning operational arrangements.
14. All persons must comply with the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and other relevant laws of Hong Kong in relation to the safeguarding of national security (“National Security Law”); and ensure that no act or activity which is likely to constitute or is likely to cause the occurrence of an offence endangering national security under the National Security Law or other laws of Hong Kong, or which would otherwise be contrary to the interests of national security, is engaged in the Kai Tak Stadium and East Village.
15. If any event involving the display or use or raising of the national flag, national emblem, the regional flag or regional emblem, the national flag-raising ceremony, or the playing or singing of the national anthem, any person using the Kai Tak Stadium and East Village shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to the National Flag and National Emblem Ordinance (Instrument A401), the Regional Flag and Regional Emblem Ordinance (Instrument A602)and the National Anthem Ordinance (Instrument A405).
16. No unauthorized air horns, whistles, cowbells, or other noise-marking devices.
17. Any form of unauthorized publicity, messages or graphic that are provocative or offensive or inflammatory, as determined solely by Kai Tak Sports Park Limited, appearing on flags, banners, clothes, accessories, or any items worn, used or possessed are prohibited.
18. Personal belongings should not be left unattended. Kai Tak Sports Park Limited is not responsible for the safe custody and/or loss or damage of personal property brought to and/or left in the Venue.
19. The Kai Tak Stadium and East Village is under closed circuit television surveillance with a recording facility.
20. Kai Tak Sports Park Limited reserves the right to deny entry and or evict personnel from the venue without refund who in its sole opinion
• Breaches the conditions of entry.
• Does not produce an authorised ticket.
• Refuses security screening or a security search inside the venue.
• Hinders the experience and enjoyment for other people attending the event.
• Fails to comply with instructions from security and guest service staff.
• Is in possession of any prohibited items as set out in point 10.
• Projectiles of any kind.
• Enter any restricted area without the appropriate accreditation or authorisation.
• Damages, interferes or tampers with any Kai Tak Sports Park property and equipment.
• Refuses to follow any laws and regulations as set out by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.
• Other acts that may endanger public safety, public health, and venue security.
21. Personnel attending an Event do so at their own risk and assume all risk and liability for personal injury, medical condition or death, including that of any minors in their care. Kai Tak Sports Park Limited bears no liability for any personal injuries, health problems or death sustained at or after an Event, including directly or indirectly resulting from any existing medical condition.
22. Kai Tak Sports Park Limited may hold liable for prosecution or penalties any person who breaches the conditions of entry.
23. Kai Tak Sports Park Limited reserves the right and is entitled to change, alter, add, delete, suspend, revise and update all information in the Conditions of Entry at any time at its absolute discretion without giving any reasons or prior notice.
24. These terms and conditions are subject to the interpretation of Kai Tak Sports Park Limited which shall be final and conclusive.
25. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and the other language version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
